A sure sign that the economy is bouncing back: a pricy steakhouse has plans to move into a formerly sleepy mall. This morning brings word that Del Frisco’s will open its first metro Boston restaurant in Chestnut Hill, in the very same plaza that will eventually house the much-ballyhooed Shake Shack.
The restaurant will open in early 2013. It’s part of a new development initiative for the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center, which includes Shake Shack, Pottery Barn, and a movie theater. So much fun in one spot! The restaurant will overlook lovely Hammond Pond. Ah, but will it serve frozen custard?
