Remember when we named Waban Kitchen one of our 13 must-tries for fall? Well, it's finally open. Chef Jeff Fournier, the mastermind behind 51 Lincoln, opened his second restaurant last night. They won't accept reservations until after November 8, but he's taken to Facebook to invite people to stop by unannounced nonetheless. Right now, it's open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Menu looks sweet!
His bolognese, a standard at 51 Lincoln, makes an appearance, but we're mainly into the chocolate-braised wild boar ragout. Check out the full debut menu right here. The restaurant is at 1649 Beacon St., which is, logically enough, in Waban.
