Puerto Rican Specialties Previously Unavailable in Massachusetts Will Arrive on Our Shores in December

By

Well, this is interesting: Universal Hub reports that Mana Escondido Cafe will open at 68 Pembroke St. on December 1, serving up, in the words of owner Angel Carraquillo, dishes unavailable anywhere else in Massachusetts. Competition for the nearby Vejigantes?

A very-much-under-construction website promises "delicious and affordable home-style Puerto Rican cuisine." And according to their (also under-construction) Facebook page, they'll also serve breakfast and brunch. Yummy! Stay tuned for more info about those hitherto unseen native treats. [UH, Official Site]
