• Torrisi Italian Specialties is unleashing some exciting menu changes. Starting December 1, the seven-course prix fixe menu will cost $65 instead of $75. With the new menu, diners have their choice of two pastas, can opt for supplemental courses, and will get a full dessert. The Italian cookies of the old menu will be boxed up for guests to take home. The Nolita restaurant’s twenty-course menu is still $160 but will now change with the seasons. [Eater]

• Allison and Matt Robicelli, who run a booming cupcake business but are also at the forefront of Sandy relief efforts in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey, are looking for experienced chefs to cook and supervise a team of volunteers in their kitchen, which is providing meals to those who are in need. • The owners of the hip version of Acme will take over Lucky Cheng’s old East Village home. Jean-Marc Houmard and Jon Neidich are teaming up with Hui Chi Le, an owner of Indochine and Republic, to open an establishment that (according to paperwork filed with CB3) will serve Asian cuisine with hours from noon to 4 a.m. [EV Grieve]
