Vinebrook Tavern has opened on Waltham Street in Lexington (site of the short-lived Bucca di Beppo and, before that, Vinny T's
House of Overpowering Garlic Aromas ). At the helm are Market at the W alum Marcus Palmer and Brian Lesser of Storyville and Sweet Cheeks. Chef Chris Frothingham, who has spent quality time in Todd English's kitchens, is hot off a stint at the Met Bar.
There's a lot of different stuff on the brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, none of it scary or especially pricy. Looks quite comfy and parent-friendly, really, which is the Lexington way. And it's across the street from Rancatore's. [Official Site]
