Once again Old City’s Khyber Pass Pub will get the good times rolling for Mardi Gras tomorrow on the early side. Brunch starts at 11 a.m., and they have two happy hours lined up for Fat Tuesday festivities. The brunch will feature the tastes of NOLA, with beignets, crawfish Étouffée, po-boys, Khyber gumbo, and tons more. For drinks, there will Sazeracs, mint juleps, Vieux Carrés, and 22 craft beers on tap. Abitas will be on special all day, and night for $4. Happy hours run 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 4 to 6 p.m.

• Across town, Rex 1516’s manager and barkeep Heather Rodkey will be mixing up her take on the Hurricane throughout the evening, while Chef Justin Swain will be turning out Muffuletta sandwiches, lamb gumbo and sweet potato beignets with bourbon caramel and cream cheese custard.

• Fishtown’s Interstate Draft House is celebrating Taco Fat Tuesday with $1 crawfish tacos, $3 draft beers, and $4 hurricanes served from 4 p.m. 11 p.m.

• At Doc Magrogan’s in University City, Chef Karen Weinstein is serving a seafood-centric Fat Tuesday tasting menu, a 12-course feast for $45 per person. The menu includes chicken gumbo, fried okra with Cajun aioli, spicy Andouille dirty rice, crawfish Étouffée, fried catfish with tomato Creole glaze, beignets with banana anglaise, and mini kings cakes, plus a lot more. Weinstein will also have a NOLA-inspired a la carte menu on for lunch and dinner, as well as specials on spiced rum hurricanes, and Abita’s Mardi Gras Bock Beer.

South Philly Bar & Grill will put a very local spin on Mardi Gras celebrations with specials on South Philly Hurricanes, amaretto, grenadine, pineapple, and orange; Mummers Strut, cherry vodka, razzmatazz and cranberry; and Balboa Punch, kiwi strawberry vodka mixed with cranberry juice and lemonade. Food specials include Cajun wings, blackened cheesesteaks, and something called Sausage Goomba Gumbo.
