It's been a Schlow-y day here at Grub Street. First we brought you news of Michael Schlow's new Barrio Cantino. Now, relaxing at the end of a long day, we read the Improper piece on Ken Oringer, complete with news of his New York Toro opening date. Nestled within the piece is this tidbit: People in D.C. just love Tico!

The Improper says Chef Schlow is "eyeballing" the District: “Boston is my home, but there are other places where the concept does well,” he says. “Developers definitely like Tico, and D.C. would be the place most interested."
