This is sad news: Fei Fan Eatery in Chinatown has closed, per Chowhound. Fei Fan, recently one of the most tempting parts of a Boston magazine guide to Chinatown, sold Japanese-style hot dogs in a little food court above Beach Street. The restaurant had been open for only a year. We could've sworn the market for soba-noodle-topped dogs was better! In memoriam, please watch this video from The Hot Dog Man channel, in which the Hot Dog Man himself stops in for a meal. "Pork sausage with kim chi? Oh my!"
