Magouns, Which Doesn't Need to Try to Be Relevant, Launches French-Mexican Fusion Menu

Loves coq au vin enchiladas.

Olde Magoun's Saloon is a trusty old pub with very good pub food. Why, then, a menu pairing French and Mexican cuisines? We admire their creativity, but we do hope that this ends well. They'll launch the special menu on Wednesdays starting March 6. According to an e-mail sent to Grub Street explaining the situation, "They tried to take more unique French dishes (coq au vin, cassoulet) and put them into accessible Mexican forms like enchiladas."
