Tony Maws: More Cool Mystery Restaurants Coming to the Cambridge-Somerville Line

By

Tony Maws doesn't quite know what to call his new neighborhood, that funny intersection of Beacon and Kirkland that's not quite Inman Square, where his Kirkland Tap & Trotter will be located come August. But he does know one thing: More excellent restaurants are on the way. Maws demurred when pressed, but he does tell Grub Street this: "It's like a little foodie destination. And a couple of other really cool people are going to be right down the road soon. But I can't give away their news." Who could it be? Any guesses? One thing we know for certain: The chef at Kirkland Tap & Trotter will be Danny Scampoli, who's worked under Maws at Craigie on Main for six years. [Earlier]
