The Boston Business Journal and the Boston Globe reported a while ago that Hungry Mother was planning to expand to One Kendall. Now Eater has the news that Barry Maiden's new place will be called State Park. The team was originally going to do a deli, but apparently that fell through. But this sounds promising nonetheless: Eater even mentions a pinball machine.
State Park will be "more casual" than Hungry Mother and will share some of its Southern influences. They report that the place will have a bar, pinball, and one all-day menu from 11 a.m. until midnight. State Park is apparently a nod to Barry Maiden's hometown of Marian, Virginia, where there's a very lovely Hungry Mother State Park. It should open in September. [EB, Earlier]
