He's a busy man: The Blue Inc. and Abby Lane chef will take over culinary operations at the old Geoffrey's space at 142 Berkeley St. (People really liked Geoffrey's. But it underwent lots of eviction and relocation woes that proved too difficult to overcome). The new restaurant will be called Harry's, says the Herald. It's an "American bistro recalling vintage Hollywood," named for the ostensibly hip Boston Redevelopment Authority executive director (and restaurant co-owner) Harry Collings.
Collings tells the paper that he's always " had an interest in restaurants." The place will serve reasonably priced comfort food and have a "comfortable, welcoming" vibe, um, just like those 1930s supper clubs in L.A. It should open in August or September. [Herald]
