Chef pals Ken Oringer and Ming Tsai have a lofty goal: They're partnering with the Red Sox, Governor Patrick, Mayor Menino, and Aramark for Boston Bites Back. The chef-studded event will hopefully raise $1 million for the One Fund, to benefit Boston Marathon bombing victims.

On the roster alongside Oringer and Tsai: Jody Adams, Jamie Bissonnette, Tiffani Faison, Jeremy Sewall, Gordon Hamersley, and Jasper White (whose former Summer Shack employee, Krystle Campbell, died in the attacks).

Says Tsai: "This event is an occasion for Bostonians to reconnect over food, mingle with chefs and honor our city's inspiring resilience. It's an opportunity for Bostonians to literally 'bite' back."

Oringer and Tsai are a charitable duo; not long ago, they raised mega-money for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Their latest good deed happens at Fenway Park on May 15, kicking off at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $200; get them here.
