Restaurant Allegedly Boots Lesbian Couple for Dancing With Each Other

Spouses Linda Fazio and Karen Semon say their trip to a touristy Florida restaurant and lounge ended in humiliation when the manager told them their dancing wasn’t “family restaurant” appropriate. The couple visited the spot — a place called Traditions on the Beach — on Saturday, got up to slow-dance, and say they were approached by a worker who said, “Please don’t dance like that, this is a family restaurant.”

The restaurant holds the couple’s dance moves were anything but innocent. It tells WFTX they were being “provocative in front of families and young children,” specifically that they were “touching each other underneath [their] clothes,” a claim that drew wide eyes from Fazio and Semon when they heard it from WFTX, seemingly for the first time. “I would’ve done this with any other guests,” manager Andrea Mucciga argues, adding that despite having the name “Traditions,” his popular spot has welcomed people “from all facts of life [sic]” for 30 years.
